Thomas Y. Barclay
About
Mr. Barclay's practice focuses primarily on civil matters, with a concentration in business litigation and trial work. Mr. Barclay handles both business-related and personal matters for his clients.
Mr. Barclay has represented businesses of all sizes, from large corporations to smaller, community-based businesses. He handles a wide range of matters, including, but not limited to: commercial litigation, construction litigation, real estate litigation, Proposition 65 litigation, probate litigation, premises liability, employment litigation, elder abuse, and catastrophic personal injury.
Whether the client is a business entity or an individual, Mr. Barclay prides himself on providing individually tailored strategies for achieving his client's goals. This is accomplished by engaging in a thorough initial assessment of a client's goals and expectations. Just as important as the initial assessment, is regular re-assessment. This ensures that the legal strategy being employed is still appropriate given the fluid nature of our legal system and the dynamic approaches required to overcome all obstacles standing in a client's way.
Mr. Barclay grew up in Downey, California. He is an alumnus of Loyola High School, the University of California, Irvine, and Loyola Law School. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Barclay worked for a civil trial boutique in Los Angeles.
